Family History Expo—Loveland, 2010

June 7, 2010

This month, my wife and I will make our first-ever trip to Loveland, Colorado, to man our booth at another Family History Expo. This event brings together a variety of individuals, businesses, and organizations that have a common interest in family history or geneaology.

Hopefully by the time we leave, I will have finished my new logo. I’m still polling my friends to help me choose which version looks best. But no matter which one wins, you’ll have to keep your eyes open for a completely new look at our booth.

At our booth, we will be explaining what we do, answering questions, and giving specific advice on individuals’ projects. Visitors can also see hard copies of some of my projects.

Most people we meet at these expos are working on family history projects, but I have also met several who need pamphlets, business cards, or logos made. I do all those, so if you or someone you know needs some branding done for their business, drop me a line.

Update

Becky Jamison of the Grace and Glory blog featured our booth in her post about the Colorado expo.

  1. I plan to eventually have a book printed, although it is not a family history. From what I understand, that will not make a difference, right?

Also, I live in Colorado. It seems like you’ve had clients from all over, so I’m wondering if that distance will be OK?

Your work looks very professional. I look forward to talking with you.

    Thank you,
    Greg

  2. Thanks, Greg.

You’re right—I do any kind of book, not just family history books. And no, working with you from a distance won’t be a problem, especially since you have email and are comfortable using the internet.

I sent you an email; we’ll talk soon.
